Modulus Operator ("M" Reference)

The % operator functions as a modulus operator.

Operator Description

The % operator is predefined for the Number type and all its subtypes. It divides the first operand by the second operand and returns the remainder. For example, the expression 50 % 8 evaluates to 2.
