Returns an HTML label element and the property name of the property that is represented by the specified expression.

    The type of the model.
  • TValue
    The type of the value.

An HTML label element and the property name of the property that is represented by the expression.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type HtmlHelper<TModel>. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).

Remarks

A property named Weight might render markup such as the following:
