The CredFree function frees the buffer that is allocated by the credential manager by using CredRead. This function replaces CeCredFree.
Syntax

PBYTE pbBuffer
);
Parameters
- pvBuffer
[in] Pointer to the buffer containing the credential to free.
Return Value
ERROR_SUCCESS is returned upon success. For a list of error codes, see Credential Manager Error Codes.
