Description

The Grant-SRDelegation cmdlet creates a security delegation on a Storage Replica server. Security delegations enable non-administrator users to configure and modify replication. This cmdlet updates members of the well-known local groups Storage Replica Administrators and Remote Management Users.

Examples

Example 1: Grant permissions to manage replication

PS C:\>Grant-SRDelegation -ComputerName "SR-SRV05" -UserName "contoso\pattifuller"
WARNING: User contoso\pattifuller was granted Storage Replica delegation. Please sign out

This command grants the Contoso domain user named pattifuller permissions to manage replication on the server named SR-SRV05.
