4.3 Example of Configuring Group Membership

In the following example, an administrator specifies that, for computers to which a certain GPO applies, the group memberships are configured as assigned:

  1. Group1 contains the following members: member1, member2, and member3.

  2. Group2 contains the following members: member1 and member3.

  3. Group3 contains the following member: member4.

  4. Group1 is part of Group3.

  5. Group2 is part of Group1.
