A little something to tide you over
And I'm not talking about a string cheese, if you know what I mean. And what I mean is, here is some information about WS2008 certification and books.
2008 EXAM NOTICES + A LITTLE SUGAR
Because we're getting more and more questions about availability of the WS2008 exams, and because we're not always particularly reliable about letting you know when exams ARE out, we created a sign-up where you can get a day-of notice when the Server 2008 exams are live (a few months out from now). And to help out those of you who are fired up to get certified early, your notification will include a 40% savings code (actually, you'll get two) to use on the WS2008 exam of your choice...
NEW BOOKS
I just heard there are two new books out:
- Wndows Server 2008 Administrator's Pocket Consultant
- Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 Administrator's Pocket Consultant
As always, keep an eye on the WS2008 learning portal for new resources and offers as they become available: https://www.microsoft.com/learning/windowsserver2008/default.mspx
See you.

Pretty cool. How about something like that for the .NET 3.5 stuff (Sorry I'm a developer, not an engineer). :)Anonymous

Stay out of the deep end for sure Trika. Its JUST certifications, we'll survive. Thanks again for everything you do! tide over, a. to assist in getting over a period of difficulty or distress. b. to surmount (a difficulty, obstacle, etc.); survive. —IdiomAnonymous

Any word when Microsoft will update the 70-649 to be a 'good' exam and stop with this 'trash-paper' 55q exam?Anonymous

What was wrong with 649? I'll admit I was more impressed with 646/647 but can't see your issue... & number of q's should be almost irrelevant as long as the questions aren't...Anonymous

Peter - Perhaps the prior commenter is hoping for simulations, as some have come to expect from the Server 2003 exams. :-)Anonymous

Bryant, I'll have you know this is being discussed! Will of course post if it happens. 70-649, We thought you guys would be pleased that the upgrade exams weren't four days long this time...
