6220
This just in. Edward Dake just informed me that he earned MCTS Vista mere moments ago, so my last post, titled "6219," is now out of date.

What about MCITP Enterprise Support? That was just at 923 last month... what did that number change to? I took the upgrade exam so I should register in both of those areas. Where are you getting your updated numbers... (besides the fact that you work for microsoft.) Is the update going to show soon?Anonymous

So Trika, can we assume that you are going to be 6221? I've just postponed my next exam (so I can concentrate on a beta), so it's okay that you have. I recommend that you always set a date for your next exam, even if circumstances (like trips to Australia and Spain) force you to postpone it.Anonymous

Hi Trika - Not sure the numbers really matter. I passed 70-632 over 2 months ago (Aug. 10) and have never received the mcts for project 2007. The exam has shown up in my transcript for over 6 weeks, but the credential was never issued. The regional service center repeatedly states "ok, your issue has been escalated and will be resolved in 3-5 business days." 5 days later I call again with nothing resolved. My most recent call was probably the most fun in which I was told to "not worry about it, the transcript shows that you passed the exam so you must have the credential." Is this what it will be like when the credentials start expiring? The test will still be there but no credential in the transcript. Maybe I am just ahead of the curve on expired credentials! For what it is worth, my support case number is KMM10319653I14L0KMAnonymous

Oh contraire Trika, all it requires is a manually or scheduled script to run once a month to retrieve the figures AND update the web page even if it was left as a static web page. The ever-so-geeky Scripting Guys over at TechNet could lend their hands to the pump. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/sgwho.mspxAnonymous

Bob, stop by my office and I'll direct you to the database people and the web people and I'll look forward to your solution! As much as I'd like to do this, it is not on my priority list and, as I said, we're not set up to do it now.Anonymous
