On community and synchronicity...

A bizarre thing about the technology of blogging, at least to me, is the emergence of community and the surprise of synchronicity.  You can be at home on the couch after midnight, watching a little tv, chatting with someone about the Messenger 6 preview, trying out all the cool new features, when all of a sudden your aggregator pulls a post from somebody you read but have never met, who is also talking about how much he likes this version of Messenger.
