It's not what you know, it's when can you talk about it that matters
I love working at Microsoft as I get to work on cool new technologies that can be used to help people be more effective. I am lucky to be able to work with fascinating people from all walks of life. I've been quieter than usual on my blog over the last few months as most of my time has been spent learning about and planning for technologies and services who's details are not yet in the public domain. Leading the charge of course are Windows 7 (client and server), the next generation of Microsoft Office and of course our plans for Cloud Computing.
Steve Clayton's Clouds on the Horizon at PDC 2008 post sums up quite nicely how I feel as the keynotes at PDC will be used to share the details of much of the technology that I'm excited about. TechEd EMEA will complete the story by sharing the remainder of the annoucments.
There's much more at PDC than Cloud Computing.
As Steve mentions the keynote timings are as follows:
Monday, October 27 8:30am - 10:30am Keynote – Ray Ozzie, Amitabh Srivastava, Bob Muglia and David Thompson
Tuesday, October 28 8:30am - 10:30am Keynote - Ray Ozzie, Steven Sinofsky, Scott Guthrie and David Treadwell
Tuesday, October 28 11:00am - 12:30pm Keynote - Chris Anderson and Don Box
Wednesday, October 29 8:30am - 10:00am Keynote - Rick Rashid
