Larry Magid: Vista's voice feature not bad
Larry Magid wrote an article that I just read on Mercury News on Vista's new Windows Speech Recognition.
Apparently, Larry recently broke his elbow and he's become one of the many who have a "temporary" disability. His elbow will get better (hopefully), but what was he supposed to do to write his news articles in the mean time?
His answer for that past week has been to use Microsoft's new Windows Speech Recognition feature included in Windows Vista. In addition to his "not bad" rating in his article title, he goes on to say:
I was surprised at how easy it was to use.
Glad to hear it Larry. Glad to hear it.

Hello Rob:
I read the article with interest. I was really pleased to hear him say that using Microsoft speech in Vista was easy. This has been a big concern of mine, "how easy will it be?" This is a very good report. I've tried to introduce people to speech recognition in the past. They easily get discouraged because they think it's difficult. Hurrah, for Vista
