Deployment–PDT 2.5.2509, resolves Configuration Manager media validation

Just posted a tiny update to the published version of PDT to resolve the media validation issue with System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager Prerequisites.  There are no other changes in this release – a much larger update with lots of interesting new functionality is coming soon!

    hey rob! .. i am trying this version but the download.ps1 keeps failing with the following error: Exception calling "DownloadFileAsync" with "2" argument(s): "WebClient does not support concurrent I/O operations." Running on Windows 2012 Tried not changing anything or at little as possible and using both variable and variableAD (in variable i did change network name, IP and so on) going to try on another host tomorrow Do you know what the problem can be? Thanks in advance

    Hoi Rob, I have noticed with the PDT installation of SMA, that the SPF account that is used for IIS Application Pools is not added to the local group "smaAdmingroup" on the SMA server. Can you fix this? Otherwise SMA is not working with the actions in Windows Azure Pack. Thanks

    Tom - Thanks for pointing this out. This will be fixed in the next release... any day now.

    Viktor - please see the post on troubleshooting. The Installer log file for the server you are attempting to install SQL on should allow you to trace why the SQL install is not having any features added.

    Rob,Thank you for the excellent work and contribution. I'm working through the latest build this time trying to deploy a lab/POC environment using the variableAD.xml so PDT builds AD etc. I keep running into the below validation error when I try running the Installer script. I have verified that AD was built and the service accounts and group were created and all the servers joined the domain. Validating role security principals...
