New look for my blog
A slightly different look, which increases the body width a bit. It's a balancing act between too narrow a column - which makes code snippets wrap and makes them confusing; or too wide a column, which makes it harder to read and scan the text.
I'm always open for feedback if you have an opinion, of course.
Enjoy!

I like it. It fits with the season nicely. Nice clean mark-up too. Good job :)Anonymous

It's a shame that we haven't been able to move beyond fixed width blogs yet... A nice refresh though.Anonymous

Simon, thanks for catching the seasonal reference - I wondered whether folks would notice :) Daren, thanks for the comment. To be honest, I often think that there is more that could be done, either with fancier HTML, some JavaScript magic, or (ideally) making use of the flow document stuff from WPF (ahhh - columns, sidebars, floating column-spanning inserts... typographic heaven). But ultimately I'd like to maximize how searchable and agent-accessible my content is, and so I stick with simple markup.Anonymous

Any chance of a spring look for those of us Down Under?Anonymous

Bobby - hehe, I did think of that, being originally from Argentina. Some part of my brain still thinks that Sep 21st is Spring Day. I'm sticking with the fall theme for now though, in the interests of not confusing myself when I glance out the window. :)
