The most common types of blog entries
Of course the first most common is “Hi. Here's my blog. I will use this blog to talk about stuff and junk.” I am guilty of this myself. Lately, I've been inundated with the next most common type of blog entry: “Dude! So-and-so has a blog, check it out!”
...Which actually is great. If I like reading someone, then chances are I'd like reading someone they like reading. Except in Scoble's case, I can't keep up with the number of people he links to.
So, with that in mind, some of the blogs I have recently discovered and enjoyed and subscribed to (er, to which I have subscribed... oh heck, who cares) in the last month or two that are related to the areas of technology in which I am interested (much better):
- The Father of OneNote: https://weblogs.asp.net/chris_pratley/
- John Topley, UI designer extraordinaire: https://www.johntopley.com/
- Peter Torr, Office programmability dude who has a thing for the Pet Shop Boys :-) : https://weblogs.asp.net/ptorr
- Tons of Office blogs, including mine. Their RSS feed is a great way to find new Office bloggers: https://www.officezealot.com/
- Did you know Slipstick has an RSS feed? https://www.slipstick.com/rssnews/rssnews.aspx
- Rob, the MSI guy: https://blogs.msdn.com/robmen/
- John Durant, more Office: https://blogs.msdn.com/johnrdurant/
- Marc Orchant, yet more Office: https://blogs.officezealot.com/marc/
Plus there are my old standards on the right side. I wish there were more Exchange or general email-related blogs (or I wish I knew about them). Adam's got some Exchange posts, anyone else?
