How geek parents track their kids' milestones

Normal parents would track a baby's progress by noting when he first learned to sort things, such as put the square block in the square hole and so on.

Geek parents, on the other hand, eagerly await the day that their babies learn bubblesort.

(For the record, Jared has learned how to do the first type of sorting, but not the latter - yet. And we are tremendously proud.)

: -)

I still haven't quite come to grips with the day my five year old was explaining to me how to use a feature in Powerpoint.

What a cute baby you have, I look forward to growing one of my own one day. Although I think I'll focus on insert sort first - more efficient and, I'd imagine, easier to grasp than more abstract sorts like QuickSort.
