The Take Control seminars are an opportunity to learn about the potential for major efficiencies in your desktop and server management operations.

This briefing is an opportunity to learn about the potential for major efficiencies in desktop and server IT Management. The first part of the seminar will focus specifically on Desktop Management with an introduction to the recently released Desktop Optimization Pack.

This new offering includes 4 new Microsoft products:
1.       Microsoft SoftGrid Application Virtualization
2.       Microsoft Asset Inventory Services
3.       Microsoft Advanced Group Policy Management
4.       Microsoft Disaster Recovery Toolset

We will cover topics such as Application Compatibility, Software Asset Management, Policy Based Management, Desktop Deployment and Monitoring as well as Diagnostics and Recovery.

The second half will focus specifically on Server Management, with a comprehensive overview of System Center Operations Manager 2007.

We will cover topics such as Operations Management, Application Monitoring, End to End services monitoring, Security Audit Collection and Operations Reporting.

    I just picked this up in my RSS feed and thought that sounded familiar. Checked my calendar and I am already enrolled in the PM (2-5) session in Melbourne. I am presuming these are the same sessions repeated from the morning.

    Please could you advise if there is to be a PM session.  The email arrived only a few hours ago and when I went to register it states that the event is already booked out.   kimberley@madampc.com
