Last week, 7 Windows legacy products related hot-fix KB articles were released, including 2 for Windows XP, 6 forWindows Server 2003, 1 forSystems Management Server, 1 for Data Protection Manager and 2 for System Center. Below are the details:
Windows Server 2003 - 2 KB articles:
· 970485 Duplicate computer names are generated if you use a Windows Setup program to generate random names for a large number of computers
· 969352 A long delay occurs when the Ntfs.sys driver tries to mount a large volume on a computer that is running Windows Server 2003 SP2
System Center - 5 KB articles:
· 967843 The <Server>_PrimarySG_<number> security group is repopulated every hour even though the group's membership has not changed in System Center Operations Manager 2007 SP1
· 968718 You cannot customize the ramdisk TFTP block size on a System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP1 site server that has the Pre-Boot Execution Environment (PXE) service point role
· 969113 Operating system deployment fails in a System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP1 environment if you deploy a different operating system to a client within one hour of a previous deployment
