Video Walkthrough Updates

I know that many people used the Walkthrough videos that I created around Lite Touch deployment with MDT and Zero Touch deployment with Configuration Manager – as I got so many great emails about them. Over the past few months I have been updating the videos that I originally released as well as adding more subjects to the list – so I am pleased to announce that the new videos are starting to appear on TechNet Edge. In all there will be seven videos walkthroughs available in four categories (they will all be released over the next couple of weeks):

The first three videos that are available can be accessed through the links above and I will update the blog as the other videos come on-line.

I was often asked if I could provide the videos as downloads – well, now you can download the video file (instead of streaming it) directly from the TechNet Edge web page for each video – look for the “Downloads” section at the bottom of the page to download the .WMV file

    Any guides on how set up MDT with SCCM for OS deployment. We currently implemented MDT Light touch OS deployments here and its working great. Win 7, Vista & even XP. Now were are looking at using SCCM with MDT & USMT to do full migrations (we use USMT by it self right now(not with MDT) I'm Looking for a guide on how to set up SCCM to use our MDT & USMT set up. We want to go zero touch with this.

    Rich, I've been one of many people screaming at you to make more videos and to answer some questions about information in your videos.  These videos make my life a little easier when I perform a DDPS, or any other service project related to SCCM OSD.  This post made my Monday. Many Thanks

    Not to rush you at all but highly interested in the last one, Win 7 ZTI with Config Mgr and MDT.  Any idea on your planned release schedule for that one?

    Thanks for the feedback guys - If you deliver DDPS - then download v4.0 from the DDPS partner site - all of the videos listed are provided as part of this package. All videos are with the TechNet Edge team and I am tied to their test and release schedule - I am hoping that the remaining videos will all be uploaded by the end of next week (Friday 15th)
