[Events] Microsoft Digital Ice House

Digital Ice House

To celebrate the consumer launch of Windows Vista on January 30 2007, Microsoft Canada built a Digital Ice House at the corner of Dundas and Yonge Street in Toronto, in the middle of Dundas Square. Here are some photos with highlights from the event which will run until February 3rd:

The Digital Ice House is roughly 1800 square feet made up of 270,000 lbs. of ice, which equals 900 x 300lbs of crystal clear ice blocks, and took 500 man hours of production / preparation, and 300 man hours to setup the building - very impressive!

The event is 100% free so feel free to come on down and meet the Canadian IT Pro and Developer Advisor teams. There is also members of our local product teams and Microsoft MVPs to answer your technical questions. We are handing out free hot chocolate, you can get the chance to win a free copy of Windows Vista Ultimate and Microsoft Office 2007, drink Windows Live water and explore Windows Vista in a very cool setting.
