Put your Career into Hyperdrive by Adding Hyper-V to your Skillset

The world is increasingly becoming a multi-hypervisor world. With nearly two thirds of businesses on more than one virtualization platform, IT professionals are challenged to become experts in more than one virtualization offering. With time and resources always in limited supply, Microsoft has created a solution path to help assist IT professionals cope with this change. Microsoft has introduced a new Virtualization certification designation to reward IT professionals looking to further their IT career.

The new certification takes cues from both Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V and System Center 2012 Virtual Machine Manager, and has been created to further enable VMware VCPs gain a second certification around virtualization. Free resources to help prepare IT professionals for this career path have also been launched and have been made available on Microsoft Virtual Academy .

To add, Microsoft will be conducting a free online interactive training hosted by Symon Perriman and Telmo Sampaio on November 19th and 20th. Those who register and attend this event will be rewarded with a free exam voucher to put towards earning the newly created Virtualization certification.
