Certification Account Conflict – AZ-400 Exam Prerequisite

I am writing to request assistance regarding a certification account conflict. I am preparing to take the AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions certification exam, which requires the AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator certification as a prerequisite.

I already hold the AZ-104 certification, which I renewed in August 2024. However, this certification is associated with my personal Microsoft account. I now need to take the AZ-400 certification exam using my corporate account (associated with my employer, EY).

I would like to know:

1. Is there a way to link my AZ-104 certification to my corporate account?
2. If not, how can I proceed with registering for the AZ-400 certification while meeting the prerequisites?

Regarding your first question, you can link your AZ-104 certification from your personal account to your corporate account by following these steps:

1. Go to your profile settings: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/users/me/settings/
2. Please scroll down to the "Account Management" section and click on "Add Account."
3. Then add your corporate account. You can link up to five school/work accounts and one personal account to your profile.

Once linked, you can use any of the connected accounts to sign in and access your certifications. This way, your AZ-104 certification will be accessible from your corporate account as well.
