I am seeing the phrase Defender for Collaboration for the first time on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/modules/design-solutions-secure-microsoft-365/1-introduction-security-exchange-sharepoint-onedrive-teams and it has me confused. I don't see this in any of the documentation about Defender XDR/Defender for Office 365. Was this a mistake in the training materials for the SC-100 exam ?

First time I hear this phrase, too. My bet is that is something the author of the learning module came up with. You can use the Feedback button at the bottom of that page to send a note his way.
