Applications and packages deployment status delayed in SCCM console

After deploying applications and packages to the clients, I can see they are installed on the clients. But, the deployment status still shows In Progress rather than Success. The status takes a long time to change.

How can I reduce the time of status mismatch and make it change in a timely manner?

    Hi,

I hope you are doing well.

The application and package deployment status change behavior is controlled by application deployment summarization interval. We can configure this settings under Administration workspace \ Sites node \ Status Summarizers \ Application Deployment Summarizer. As shown below in my lab.

    application deployment

Frequency of status updates for a deployment that was modified in the last 30 days: By default, this value is 60 minutes.

Frequency of status updates for a deployment that was modified in the last 31 to 90 days: By default, this value is 24 hours.

Frequency of status updates for a deployment that was last modified over 90 days ago: By default this value is 7 days.

Monitor app state in the console

Hope it helps. Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,

    Simon
