Hi,

seems we can't map the data share to a target which is a NFSv3 enabled Azure Blob Storage.
Please clarify.

This page doesn't mention anything https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs/blob/main/articles/data-share/supported-data-stores.md about such a restriction.

Then I try to change my Storage account with NFSv3 to Public I get this warning: NFS v3 is enabled for this storage account. Setting network access to 'all networks' will cause network access using this protocol to fail.

Thanks, Tilo

@ Tilo , I understand your concern about the MS documentation,

It's great to hear that you successfully tested a BlobFuse2 connection! BlobFuse is indeed a good alternative to NFSv3 for accessing Azure Blob Storage, especially when dealing with network restrictions.

Bases on your specific issue, I Suggest you might want to refer to the below documentation:

    • Azure Data Share Overview: This page provides a general overview of Azure Data Share, including its capabilities and supported scenarios.
    • Supported Data Stores: This section lists the data stores that are compatible with Azure Data Share.

NFS 3.0 Protocol Support for Azure Blob Storage: This page provides detailed information on the requirements and limitations of using NFSv3 with Azure Blob Storage.

If you have any other questions or are still running into more issues, let me know in the "comments" and I would be happy to help you.
