Migrating to ExpressRoute Metro:
We have a ExpressRoute Standard in West Europe and plan to opt for Metro (High resilency) however I would like to understand the following:

  1. This will require to create a new ExpressRoute circuits with Metro( High resiliency) - Circuit B (considering current ER Standard as Circuit A)
  2. This will need to config to be done for Circuit B , test it and then delete Circuit A.

Does that mean that Metro will require a new circuit (the existing Circuit A can't be used) Can Circuit A be used along with new Metro circuit?

Pricing components:

  1. If this requires a new circuit to be created, will it only cost me Azure ExpressRoute 500mbps (similar to what we already have in Circuit A)
  2. Are there any additional cost for installation, one time cost or anything like that ? Please specify the details .

Current Circuit A:
ExpressRoute Standard, Zone 1, Premium Unlimited Data plan, Speed: 500mbps - Paying 3150$

  1. I would like to have same config for Metro
