What do you mean by ”it didn't proceed when I installed it”? Is there any specific error message or prompt?
Please see the document to do an offline installation of Visual Studio.
It is noted that KERNELBASE.dll is a system file. Can you please check if there are any issues with your drive or system?
- Run “sfc /scannow” at the command prompt to repair missing or corrupted system files.
- There is also the possibility that the disk is failing. Try running chkdsk on your drive.
If it persists, please share us the complete offline command you used to investigate it further.
