I attempted to sign up for the Microsoft 365 Developer Program but received the following error:

"You don't currently qualify for a Microsoft 365 Developer Program sandbox subscription."

As someone who is currently unemployed, I saw learning the Power Platform as a valuable way to improve my career prospects. Unfortunately, despite numerous attempts, I have been unable to access the Power Platform apps. Even when trying to use self-service options, I receive messages instructing me to choose an account with permission, which I do not have access to. This has made it impossible for me to complete tutorials with any meaningful hands-on practice.

I genuinely believe that Microsoft should reevaluate and streamline the process for individuals seeking to register for Power Platform access. The current process is overly complex, involving an unreasonable number of steps and creating confusion without offering a clear resolution. I am extremely disappointed that I am unable to use these tools to advance my knowledge and develop the skills that could one day help me in a professional environment.

I hope this feedback can help bring attention to these challenges and lead to improvements in the experience for learners like me.

You can create a Microsoft 365 trial account by following the link below:
