Advisor Recommendations REST API missing data for connected AWS account

Hi Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue with the Advisor Recommendations REST API, where it is returning incomplete recommendations for my connected AWS accounts. However, it works fine when retrieving recommendations for Azure resources.

API Used: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/advisor/recommendations/list?view=rest-advisor-2023-01-01&tabs=HTTP

Missing Recommendations Include:

  • Password policies for IAM users should have strong configurations
  • EBS default encryption should be enabled
  • IAM Access Analyzer should be configured
  • Amazon EC2 should be configured to use VPC endpoints
  • Ensure a log metric filter and alarm exists for AWS Organizations changes
  • S3 buckets should require requests to use Secure Socket Layer
  • Is that the limitation of the API, or do I need to do something

Is this a known limitation of the API, or is there additional configuration required to ensure all AWS recommendations are included in the response?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
