I've been through a Native Mode migration before, and it can be cumbersome if it fails. If your Native Mode migration has failed, there are a few prerequisite steps that need to be addressed.
First, you can check the status of your migration here:

- Consolidate Yammer networks
- When you check this area, make sure you're logged in with an account that's in your primary domain, otherwise you might consolidate networks into a secondary network, and that is irreversible without contacting Microsoft

- Enforce Microsoft 365 identity
- This is a checkbox in the Yammer network settings page
- This is a checkbox in the Yammer network settings page
There will also be a status page in the Network Migration section showing you the progress of the migration. Once you finish the steps above, your Native Mode migration should complete.
