ical feed to Outlook 365 Calendar over the web shows appointments 30 mins late

Hello,

I currently have an apple ical feed from my icloud calendar to feed over to outlook.

The feed to my desktop outlook app works fine, the appointments feed to the dates/times as originally shown in my icloud ical calendar.

The feed to outlook Owa is off by 30 mins (ie. my 10:15am-11:45 dr appointment in icloud ical calendar feeds over as 10:45am-12:15pm dr appointment in Outlook Owa calendar).

I've checked date/time on icloud.com, my computer, my phone, microsoft 365 online. I can't figure it out. I had my doubts that it was a timezone issue as the difference was only 30 minutes which made it strange.

Since it's feeding the right time to the outlook desktop app, it seems like an issue with outlook Owa but I can't figure it out, it's driving me nuts.

If anybody has any suggestions or experienced this issue before, I'm open to help.

Are all meetings on OWA half an hour late?

Is the correct time displayed when you receive and send messages?

Based on your description, I learned that the time in the Outlook email is later than the actual time. Make sure that the time zone in Outlook is the same as your computer.

To check the time zone in OWA, go to Settings > View all Outlook settings > General > Language and time and verify the time zone.

Yes, all appointments in OWA are 30 minutes late (but show the correct time in the outlook desktop app even if I look at both the app and OWA at the same computer, their different).

The timezone settings seem to be the same on my computer settings and outlook owa.

I can't figure out why OWA is showing the wrong time but the outlook desktop is correct.

Also, it seems like the date/time stamp on email seems to be ok as far as I can tell.

Is the setup correct in Microsoft 365?

Also, please check that the time zone setting in this account settings link is correct.

Adjusting the timezones didn't really fix the problem.

I've done alot of trial & error, testing and retesting and come to the conclusion that Microsoft Outlook isn't translating the timezone correctly when the appointments come over from icloud (specifically Outlook OWA since the Outlook desktop app appointment time was fine).

I figured out that if I use the "Floating" timezone in icloud when making the appointment, the appointment date/time come over to outlook fine. If I use GMT 10:00 or the Hawaii timezone, the appointment date/time come over fine in the outlook desktop app, however in Outlook OWA the time was off the 30 minutes.

So for whatever reason Outlook OWA doesn't translate it correctly but the Outlook desktop app does. Hopefully Microsoft can figure out what the problem but in the meantime using the "Floating" timezone in icloud forces my appointment date/time to "stick" to the correct time.

@SokiGuo-MSFT I can also replicate what Ryan M outlines in his comment on Sep 18, 2024.

I assume Ryan M's issue stems from calendar subscriptions as I am suffering from the same issue when trying to subscribe to an iCal calendar within Outlook OWA.

It is not a matter of setting up and iCloud account within Outlook.

Any potential solution that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
