CBaseMediaFilter.Stop method
[The feature associated with this page, DirectShow, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine, and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation. Those features have been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The Stop method stops the object. This method implements the IMediaFilter::Stop method.
Syntax
HRESULT Stop();
Parameters
This method has no parameters.
Return value
Returns S_OK.
Remarks
In the base class, this method sets the CBaseMediaFilter::m_State member variable to State_Stopped but does nothing else.
