[The feature associated with this page, DirectShow, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine, and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation. Those features have been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. Syntax

CBaseList(
   TCHAR *pName,
   INT   iItems
);

Parameters

pName

Pointer to the name of the list.

iItems

Size of the node cache.

Remarks

For efficiency, the CBaseList class maintains a cache of list nodes. If you know approximately how many items the list will hold, use this version of the constructor.
