CBaseList.AddBeforeI method
[The feature associated with this page, DirectShow, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine, and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation. Those features have been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The AddBeforeI method inserts an item before the specified position.

Return value
Returns the position indicator for the inserted item.
Remarks
If pos is NULL, this method adds the item to the tail of the list (equivalent to calling the CBaseList::AddTailI method).
