SHCreateShellItemArrayFromIDLists function (shobjidl_core.h)

Creates a Shell item array object from a list of ITEMIDLIST structures.

Syntax

SHSTDAPI SHCreateShellItemArrayFromIDLists(
  [in]  UINT                    cidl,
  [in]  PCIDLIST_ABSOLUTE_ARRAY rgpidl,
  [out] IShellItemArray         **ppsiItemArray
);

Parameters

[in] cidl

Type: UINT

The number of elements in the array.

[in] rgpidl

Type: PCIDLIST_ABSOLUTE_ARRAY

A list of cidl constant pointers to ITEMIDLIST structures.

[out] ppsiItemArray

Type: IShellItemArray**

When this function returns, contains an IShellItemArray interface pointer.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this function succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
