OleUIPromptUserW function (oledlg.h)
Displays a dialog box with the specified template and returns the response (button identifier) from the user. This function is used to display OLE warning messages, for example, Class Not Registered.
Syntax

Parameters
[in] nTemplate
The resource number of the dialog box to be displayed. See Remarks.
[in] hwndParent
The handle to the parent window of the dialog box.
...
Optional. The title of the dialog box followed by a list of arguments for the format string in the static control (IDC_PU_TEXT) of the dialog box. The caller must be sure to pass the correct number and types of arguments.

Remarks
The following dialog box templates are defined in Windows Interface Guidelines--A Guide for Designing Software. The nTemplate parameter must be a currently defined resource, however, additional templates can be added to prompt.dlg.

The oledlg.h header defines OleUIPromptUser as an alias that automatically selects the ANSI or Unicode version of this function based on the definition of the UNICODE preprocessor constant. Mixing usage of the encoding-neutral alias with code that is not encoding-neutral can lead to mismatches that result in compilation or runtime errors.
