MsiDatabaseExportA function (msiquery.h)
The MsiDatabaseExport function exports a Microsoft Installer table from an open database to a Text Archive File.
Syntax

[in] MSIHANDLE hDatabase,
[in] LPCSTR szTableName,
[in] LPCSTR szFolderPath,
[in] LPCSTR szFileName
);
Parameters
[in] hDatabase
The handle to a database from MsiOpenDatabase.
[in] szTableName
The name of the table to export.
[in] szFolderPath
The name of the folder that contains archive files.
[in] szFileName
The name of the exported table archive file.
Return value
The MsiDatabaseExport function returns one of the following values:

Remarks
If a table contains streams, MsiDatabaseExport exports each stream to a separate file.

This function cannot be called from custom actions. A call to this function from a custom action causes the function to fail.
If the function fails, you can get extended error information by using MsiGetLastErrorRecord.
Note
The msiquery.h header defines MsiDatabaseExport as an alias that automatically selects the ANSI or Unicode version of this function based on the definition of the UNICODE preprocessor constant. Mixing usage of the encoding-neutral alias with code that is not encoding-neutral can lead to mismatches that result in compilation or runtime errors.
