ImmRequestMessageA function (immdev.h)
Generates a WM_IME_REQUEST message.
Syntax
LRESULT ImmRequestMessageA(
HIMC unnamedParam1,
WPARAM unnamedParam2,
LPARAM unnamedParam3
);
Parameters
unnamedParam1
unnamedParam2
unnamedParam3
Return value
Returns an operation-specific value if successful, or 0 otherwise.
Remarks
IME must use this function instead of sending the WM_IME_REQUEST message to the application in a call to SendMessage.
Note
The immdev.h header defines ImmRequestMessage as an alias that automatically selects the ANSI or Unicode version of this function based on the definition of the UNICODE preprocessor constant. Mixing usage of the encoding-neutral alias with code that is not encoding-neutral can lead to mismatches that result in compilation or runtime errors. For more information, see Conventions for Function Prototypes.
