IDCompositionTurbulenceEffect::SetNumOctaves method (dcomp.h)
Sets the number of octaves for the noise function.

Parameters
[in] numOctaves
Type: UINT
The number of octaves for the noise function. This value must be greater than 0.
Return value
Type: HRESULT
If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
