ID2D1Geometry::ComputeArea(constD2D1_MATRIX_3X2_F&,FLOAT*) method (d2d1.h)

Computes the area of the geometry after it has been transformed by the specified matrix and flattened using the default tolerance.

Syntax

HRESULT ComputeArea(
  const D2D1_MATRIX_3X2_F & worldTransform,
  FLOAT                     *area
);

Parameters

worldTransform

Type: [in] const D2D1_MATRIX_3X2_F &

The transform to be applied to this geometry before computing its area.

area

Type: [out] FLOAT*

When this method returns, area contains a pointer to the area of the transformed, flattened version of this geometry. You must allocate storage for this parameter.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
