IVssBackupComponentsEx2::UnexposeSnapshot method (vsbackup.h)
Unexposes a shadow copy either by deleting the file share or by removing the drive letter or mounted folder.
Syntax
HRESULT UnexposeSnapshot(
[in] VSS_ID snapshotId
);
Parameters
[in] snapshotId
The shadow copy identifier. The value of this identifier should be the same as the value that was used when the shadow copy was exposed.
Return value
The following are the valid return codes for this method.

The shadow copy was successfully unexposed. |

The caller does not have sufficient backup privileges or is not an administrator. |

One of the parameter values is not valid. |

The caller is out of memory or other system resources. |

The backup components object is not initialized, this method has been called during a restore operation, or this method has not been called within the correct sequence. |

The specified shadow copy does not exist or is not exposed. |
|

Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP: This value is not supported until Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7. E_UNEXPECTED is used instead. |
