MFCreateMFVideoFormatFromMFMediaType function (mfapi.h)

Creates an MFVIDEOFORMAT structure from a video media type.
Syntax
HRESULT MFCreateMFVideoFormatFromMFMediaType(
[in] IMFMediaType *pMFType,
[out] MFVIDEOFORMAT **ppMFVF,
[out] UINT32 *pcbSize
);
Parameters
[in] pMFType
Pointer to the IMFMediaType interface of a video media type.
[out] ppMFVF
Receives a pointer to an MFVIDEOFORMAT structure. The caller must release the memory allocated for the structure by calling CoTaskMemFree.
[out] pcbSize
Receives the size of the MFVIDEOFORMAT structure.
Return value
If this function succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
