IsCharUpperA function (winuser.h)
Determines whether a character is uppercase. This determination is based on the semantics of the language selected by the user during setup or through Control Panel.
Syntax
BOOL IsCharUpperA(
[in] CHAR ch
);
Parameters
[in] ch
Type: CHAR
The character to be tested.
Return value
Type: BOOL
If the character is uppercase, the return value is nonzero.
If the character is not uppercase, the return value is zero. To get extended error information, call GetLastError.
Remarks
Note
The winuser.h header defines IsCharUpper as an alias that automatically selects the ANSI or Unicode version of this function based on the definition of the UNICODE preprocessor constant. Mixing usage of the encoding-neutral alias with code that is not encoding-neutral can lead to mismatches that result in compilation or runtime errors. For more information, see Conventions for Function Prototypes.
