Introduction
In the order to cash process, an organization receives orders through various methods, such as from a website, email, electronic data interchange (EDI), phone, and more. The organization fulfills orders through logistics and then it might reserve the items before the warehouse personnel picks, packs, and ships the items to the customers.
This module describes how to approach two different order to cash scenarios. The first scenario involves creating and processing a sales order. After you create and process the sales order, the sales order picking process occurs, which allows the warehouse team to pick and ship the items so that they're delivered to the customer in a timely manner. In the second scenario, you work with processing customer returns and sales order reservations.
