Set up various kinds of groups. The following path shows how to access set up forms for groups: Time and attendance > Setup > Groups.
Absence groups and related absence codes are used when workers make absence registrations.
Calculation groups are used to divide workers into groups, for example, teams that have the same supervisor or manager. Calculation groups are used when supervisors or managers calculate workers’ registrations.
Approval groups are used to divide workers into groups. They're used when managers or payroll officers approve workers’ registrations.
Flex groups are used to divide workers into groups in companies where workers can work flexible hours.
Navigate to Time and attendance > Set up >Indirect activity categories.
Navigate to Time and attendance > Set up > Time profiles > Profiles.
Set up payroll in Time and attendance > Setup > Payroll.
Register time spent working on projects for production
Supervisors and managers can configure the production floor execution interface to enable workers to easily track time spent on project-related activities. When a worker begins a new project, they select it from a list, and the system automatically records the start time. When the worker registers their next activity—whether that’s clocking out, switching to a new project, or starting a production job—the system captures that as the end time for the previous project and updates the project’s journal with accurate start and end times. This feature offers an efficient way to track time spent on projects without requiring workers to manually complete a timesheet each time they begin or end a task.
