All assets page
To access the All assets page, follow these steps:
- Go to Asset Management > Assets > All assets.
- On the All assets page, select a link in the Asset column to view the details of the selected record. After selecting the link, you will see a series of expandable FastTabs that provide additional information that is related to this asset.
- On the far right of the page is the Related information pane, which contains additional asset-related information.
Asset tab
The following sections describe menu selections that are found under the Asset tab.
Asset management > Common > Assets > All assets
Maintain
The Maintain section contains three options:
- Move to parent asset – Moves the selected asset to a different place in the asset structure.
- Remove from parent asset – Removes the selected asset from the current parent.
- Install asset at location – Adds the selected asset at a functional location. Only top-level assets can be installed at functional locations.
New
The New selection contains the Copy asset option, which copies an asset hierarchy to another asset.
View
The View section contains three options:
- Maintenance requests – Opens the Maintenance request page where you can view all maintenance requests that were created for this asset.
- Event history – Opens the Asset event history page where you can view the various registrations that have been made on the asset.
- Asset BOM – Shows all the items, including spare parts and other items that are used on the asset.
Work order
The Work order section contains four options:
- Work orders – Opens the Active work orders page where you can view all work orders for the asset.
- Maintenance checklist – Opens the Work order maintenance job checklist page where you can view all maintenance checklists and measurements that are registered on the asset.
- Maintenance downtime – Allows you to either create or view maintenance downtime on the asset.
- Project transactions – Opens the Posted project transactions page where you can view all posted transactions that are related to work orders that were created on the asset.
Preventive
The Preventive section contains two options:
- Counters – Opens the Asset counters page where you can create, view, or edit any counters that are related to the asset.
- Maintenance schedule – Opens the Open maintenance schedule lines page where you can view the various maintenance plans, maintenance requests, and maintenance rounds that were created and associated with the asset.
Lifecycle state
The Lifecycle state section contains two options:
- Update asset state – Opens a dialog box where you can update the asset state. If you select multiple assets on the All assets page and select Update asset state, you can update the asset state for all assets that you selected at the same time.
- Lifecycle state log – Opens a log that shows the various lifecycle states of the asset.
Attachments
The Attachments section contains the Asset documents option, which opens the Maintenance asset documents for asset page where you can view all documents that are attached to the asset. Asset documents are set up in Asset management > Setup > Asset documents.
General tab
The following sections describe the available sections under the General tab.

Asset details
The Asset details section contains four options:
- Attributes – Allows you to create or view asset attributes.
- Image – Allows you to select an image for the asset.
- Parent assets – Shows the parent asset history for the selected asset.
- Functional locations – Shows the functional location history that is associated with the asset.
Related information
The Related information section contains the following options:
- Condition assessment – This page is where you either create or edit any condition assessment measurements on the asset.
- Faults – Opens the Asset faults page where you can view all faults that are registered on the asset.
- Cost control – Opens the Cost control page where you can generate a report to compare budget costs and actual costs on the asset.
- Hour control – Allows you to compare forecast hours and actual hours on the asset.
- Asset KPIs – Calculates and shows the key performance indicators (KPIs) for the asset.
- Maintenance job types – Provides an overview of the current maintenance job type defaults for the asset.
- Criticality types – Allows you to view or update the asset criticality types.
- Spare parts – Shows a list of approved and alternative spare parts that can be used on the asset.
Reports
The Reports section contains two options:
- Asset consumption – Prints a report that shows the consumption registrations on the asset.
- Asset fault – Prints a report that shows the fault registrations on the asset.
