Add to your performance journal
The performance journal stores information on individual performance during a period and on the progress of goals. Within the journal, you can also add supportive comments to the activities and events that your coworkers participated in. As an employee, you can use the performance journal to stay on track with meeting your goals and seek insight on your individual performance to set up for future work. To add to your performance journal, follow these steps:
Go to Human Resources > Workspaces > Employee self service.
Go to Additional information > Performance > Performance journal.
Select +New.
Enter a title and a description in the Title and Description fields, respectively.
Note
The performance journal date is the date that the performance journal was created, and the source represents where the journal came from. For example, if you created the journal, then the source would be My journal.
Enter a Start date and Date completed.
In the Development plan field, select Yes.
Type a value in the Keywords field.
Note
If you want, you can add external links to your performance journal. Under Links, select +Add external link. Then, you can add the desired external link by adding a description and URL.
Select Save and then exit the form.
On the Action Pane, select + Quick add.
In the Title field, enter a value.
In the Description field, enter a value.
Select Save.
On the Action Pane, select Send feedback.
Under Feedback recipient, select the desired employee.
In the Description field, enter the feedback that you want to give to the employee.
Select Send.
