The Teams JavaScript client library provides a straightforward way to integrate native Microsoft Teams functionality into your apps.
In this module, you created a new Teams tab app by using the Teams Toolkit extension in Visual Studio Code. You created a new tab to add chat capability so that an app user can start a new chat in Teams through your app. You used the people and chat capabilities in the Teams JavaScript client library to allow the user to select recipients and start the chat experience.
