Calculate capacity load on scheduled work orders

If you want to get an overview of the workload on resources for a specific period, you can use the Calculate capacity load page.

You can calculate capacity load based on:

  • Maintenance workers
  • Worker groups
  • Tools
  • Assets

To use the Calculate capacity load page, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Asset Management > Inquiries > Schedule > Capacity load. The Calculate capacity load dialog box displays where you can specify the parameters for the inquiry.
  2. In the Show field, you can select if you want to calculate. You can select Capacity, Reserved, or Remainder.
  3. If you set the Skip zero toggle to Yes, you won't see results containing zero.
  4. You can select the resources to calculate by setting the toggle for Worker, Maintenance worker group, Tool, or Asset to Yes.
  5. You can select the date and interval for the calculation. In the Interval type field, you can select Day, Week, Month, or Quarter.
  6. Specify the From date to run this calculation.
  7. In the Period frequency field, you can enter the number of intervals that you want to calculate. For example, if you select Week and enter 5 in the Period frequency field, you'll be calculating for five weeks from the start date.
  8. Select OK. An inquiry will display, like the following image.

  1. In the query, you can see the Load type, Reference number, Name, and hours for each day.
