Maintenance schedule cost

Completed

You can calculate budget costs on any maintenance schedule line. This method helps you get an overview of the expected costs on planned preventive maintenance for a specific year, for instance. These costs are based on existing scheduled lines of maintenance plans, maintenance rounds, and maintenance requests.

To calculate budget costs on a maintenance schedule life, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Asset management > Inquiries > Assets > Maintenance schedule cost.
  2. Select a Financial dimension set that you want to use. This selection allows you to see cost groups in financial dimensions.
  3. In the Level field, indicate how detailed you want the maintenance schedule lines to be regarding functional locations.
    • For example, if you insert the number 2 in the field, and you have a multi-level functional location structure, all maintenance schedule lines for a functional location will be shown on the top level; therefore, the hours on a line might be added from functional locations that are located at a lower level. If you insert the number 0 in the Level field, you will see a detailed result that shows all maintenance schedule lines on all the functional location levels to which they are related.
  4. Choose specific assets by selecting Filter in the Records to include field, where you are able to set the Expected start date or select the Status for the cost calculation.
  5. Select OK to perform the calculation.
  6. On the Maintenance schedule cost page, you will be able to get a more in-depth view by using the Group by options in the FastTab. As shown in the following image, you can group by several different options.
  7. Repeat the process by selecting the Calculate cost button in the Action Pane.
