Student feedback and assessment

Completed

With a OneNote Class Notebook, students work and teachers give feedback in real time. Learners can be self-reflective and respond to teacher feedback.

Navigate to the Class Notebook tab and select Review Student Work to provide feedback on the work of an individual student.

Select Cross Notebook Review to provide feedback across notebooks other classes may be working on at the same time.

Page locking

The page locking feature prevents a student from making changes as you're providing feedback.

  1. Check the student’s name.
  2. Choose Page Lock.

A lock icon appears next to each student name with a locked page. The educator can unlock page feedback on the assignment for the student to complete it.

Add feedback

Teachers can use any form of text, drawing, stickers, video, or audio to provide feedback to students.

Activity

Try giving student feedback using inking, audio and/or text, directly on their page.

Use the review work feature to lock the page, so that the student can't edit the page while you're giving feedback.
