Summary
In this module, we explored the 21CLD self-regulation dimension and discussed:
- Why self-regulation is important
- The key features of self-regulation
- The skills required for self-regulation
We also examined the self-regulation rubric and decision tree and defined the key terms associated with the various degrees of the dimension. To gain familiarity with the rubric, we used the rubric or decision tree to code anchor lessons and covered Microsoft tools that support self-regulation in learners. Finally, we used the rubric to redesign learning activities to deepen self-regulation skills among learners.
